A grandmother has told how she was moved to
tears when a homeless man gifted her disabled
grandson 50p.
Maureen Armstrong was in McDonald’s with her
grandchildren during a visit to Newcastle city
centre when the heartwarming incident happened.
Her grandson, Richard, was diagnosed with
meningitis when he was just 11 months old, the
Chronicle Live reported .
Doctors were forced to amputate both his legs,
right arm and the fingertips of his left hand to save
his life.

Like his twin-brother Jayden, Richard loves
Pokémon GO, as he is able to play mobile game
with what is left of the fingers on his left
